The Caruso Rock is a cliff rock off the George V coast in the Australian Antarctic Territory . It belongs to the Mackellar Islands off Cape Denison in the Commonwealth Bay and is immediately west of Crippen Rock .

Participants of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered him. It is named after one of the sled dogs on the research trip. This in turn was named after the Italian tenor Enrico Caruso because of its constant howling .
