Casa del Señor

The Casa del Señor in Lapenilla , a district of the Spanish municipality of La Fueva in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon , was built in the 16th century. The fortified house to which the San Julián Church is attached has been classified as a Bien de Interés Cultural ( architectural monument ).

The ruined Casa del Señor is a typical example of a fortified house with towers in the Alto Aragón region , northern Aragon in the Pyrenees . In the 16th century, the region was marked by political and social conflicts. At the same time, gangs made the area unsafe.
