The Castellini Bluff is a 500 m high cliff in the west of White Island in the Antarctic Ross Archipelago . It looms between Dibble Bluff and Mount Nesos .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the cliff in 2005 after Michael A. Castellini of the University of Alaska at Fairbanks , who studied the population development of the Weddell seal in the sea ice area of McMurdo Sound between 1977 and 2004 , including in the winter of 1981 on White Island.
