geography

The river is only about 2 km long. It rises in the area of the village of Castries , in a valley of Bocage , where it receives, among other things, the Ravine Chabot . It runs west, taking in more streams from Entrepot , Arundel Hill, and Parker's Hill from the left and south. Most of the time it runs in the densely populated urban area of Castries and flows into the Caribbean Sea shortly after the bridge of the Millennium Highway at the ferry terminal in Castries Port . In the center of Castries, Morne Girard Road , Riverside Road , Brazil Street on the north side and Hospital Road on the south bank border directly on the river. The fire station (Castries Fire Station) and the Viex Fort Bus Terminal are also right on the river.
