The Cat Nunatak is a nunatak in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises from the ice masses of the southern part of the Wilson Piedmont Glacier halfway between Vince Nunatak and Hogback Hill .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named him in 1994 in memory of the cats on board the ships Morning and Terra-Nova in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) and in the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913), both sides under the Head of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
