Cat Island (Île aux Chats ou Pierrot) is a small uninhabited island in the Indian Ocean . It belongs to the African Republic of Mauritius . It is about 1.3 km long and 600 m wide.
The island is one of the many small neighboring islands of Rodrigues and a popular diving area for diving tourists due to its colorful corals .
