Catalunya Blaus Almogàvers is a rugby union club from the Spanish city of Sant Boi de Llobregat . The franchise , which is managed by the rugby club UE Santboiana , takes part in the Superibérica de Rugby and covers as a catchment area Catalonia , including Northern Catalonia . The name Almogàvers refers to a troop of Catalan soldiers who became famous in the Reconquista and were widely used as mercenaries in Italy and the Levant in the 13th and 14th centuries.
The team plays their home games at the Estadi Baldiri Aleu . The team colors are blue, red and black.
