The Catenary Nunatak is a nunatak in East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the south side of the Quartermain Mountains it rises 1.5 km southwest of the Monastery-Nunatak .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1993 after the English-language technical term for a catenoid in the geodetic surveying of two locations at the same height.
