Catharina Priggen
Catharina Priggen (* August 4, 1631 , † July 3, 1706 ) was the abbess of the Heidekloster Medingen near Bevensen.
Life
In 1681 she succeeded Margaret II von Dassel . In 1686 she had the sacristy built on the south side of the church. Further structural measures followed in 1690. Two years later, she had the monastery statutes transmitted to the St. Katharina Monastery in Wolmirstedt , the predecessor institution of the New Abbey there . This happened at the request of the Wolmirstedt abbess, because the written statutes of the Medingen mother monastery belonging to the Halberstadt diocese had been destroyed by the Magdeburg wedding . In 1698, the common feeding system introduced in Medingen in 1497 was abolished.
