from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Flintyxan (German flint ax , stone ax) was an international Swedish literary prize for historical crime novels . It was awarded by the Swedish crime magazine Jury between 2001 and 2007 . As in the case of the Poloni Prize for female authors, the jury tried to gain greater recognition for the special genre of the historical crime novel. With the discontinuation of the magazine, the award was not continued.
