Catherine Tyldesley
Catherine Tyldesley (born September 17, 1983 in Salford ) is a British actress, best known for her roles as Iris Moss on the BBC drama Lilies and as Eva Price on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street .
Life
Tyldesley was born in Salford . She learned acting at the Birmingham School of Acting , where she graduated in 2005. In January 2014, Tyldesley met personal trainer Tom Pitfield . Seven months later, the two became engaged and finally married in May 2016. At the age of 31, she had their first son, Alfie James Pitfield (born March 18, 2015). She returned to the Coronation Street set just four months after giving birth .
After graduating, she got roles in Holby City and Sorted before starring in the short-lived BBC series Lilies. Since then, she has appeared on a number of series including Emmerdale , Shameless , Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, and Drop Dead Gorgeous . In addition to being an actress, Tyldesly is also a singer and model.
She joined Coronation Street in June 2011 as Eva Price , having previously appeared on the show as a midwife in January 2006 .
