List of Portuguese ambassadors in Jordan

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Jordan lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Jordan . The two countries have had diplomatic relations since 1972.

A Portuguese representative was accredited for the first time in 1972 in the Jordanian capital Amman . Portugal did not open its own embassy there afterwards, the Portuguese ambassador in Egypt (temporarily the Portuguese ambassador in Lebanon ) is responsible for Jordan and receives a second accreditation in Amman .

A Portuguese honorary consulate has been set up in the Jordanian capital Amman .
