List of Portuguese ambassadors in North Korea

The list of Portuguese ambassadors to North Korea lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal to North Korea . The countries have had direct diplomatic relations since 1975.

In 1976 , the first Portuguese ambassador to North Korea, Portugal’s representative, based in the Russian capital Moscow, was accredited . Portugal has not yet opened its own embassy in the North Korean capital Pyongyang , the country initially belonged to the administrative district of the Portuguese embassy in Moscow, from 1981 to that of the embassy in Beijing (China) and since 2002 to that of the embassy in Seoul (South Korea) the respective head of mission is secondly accredited in North Korea (as of 2019).
