The list of the Portuguese Ambassador to Tajikistan lists the Ambassador of Portugal in Tajikistan on.

The two countries have had diplomatic relations since 1992. First accredited a Portuguese representative in the Tajik capital, in 1996, Dushanbe . Portugal did not open its own embassy there, the Portuguese ambassador to Russia has since been responsible for Tajikistan and is accredited twice for this purpose .
