List of Portuguese ambassadors in Vietnam

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Vietnam lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Vietnam . The countries have had renewed diplomatic relations since 1975, which date back to the first arrival of Portuguese explorers in what is now Vietnam in 1513.

For the first time , a Portuguese ambassador personally accredited himself to Vietnam in 1981. Portugal did not open its own embassy there, the Portuguese representative in Thailand is still responsible for Vietnam and is accredited second in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi (as of 2019).

In Hanoi and in Ho Chi Minh City are honorary consulates of Portugal established.
