List of Portuguese ambassadors in the United Arab Emirates

The list of Portuguese ambassadors to the United Arab Emirates lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal to the United Arab Emirates .

The two countries have had diplomatic relations since 1976, and the first Portuguese ambassador was accredited in 1981 in the Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi . Portugal opened its own embassy there in 2011 , until then the Portuguese representative in Saudi Arabia had been double accredited there .

The Portuguese embassy in Abu Dhabi resides in Villa A 42 in the Marina Office Park, Dubai Marina district.
