List of Portuguese ambassadors in Myanmar

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Myanmar lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Myanmar . The countries have had direct diplomatic relations since 1981, dating back to the first arrival of Portuguese explorers in what is now Myanmar in the 16th century.

For the first time accredited to a Portuguese ambassador in 1983 personally in Myanmar. Portugal did not open its own embassy there, the Portuguese representative in Thailand is still responsible for Myanmar and is accredited for this purpose in the Myanmar capital Naypyidaw , until 2005 Rangoon (status 2019).
