List of Portuguese ambassadors in Qatar

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Qatar lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Qatar . The two countries have had direct diplomatic relations since 1982.

On December 4, 1989 , the first Portuguese representative in Qatar was accredited . The country then continues to belong to the administrative district of the Portuguese ambassador to Saudi Arabia , who received a second accreditation in Qatar . In 2011, Portugal finally decided to open its own embassy in the Qatari capital Doha , which began work in 2015.
