List of Portuguese ambassadors in South Korea

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in South Korea lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in South Korea . The countries have had direct diplomatic relations since 1977, dating back to their first relationship after the arrival of the Portuguese explorers on the Korean Peninsula in 1604.

In 1977 the first Portuguese ambassador to South Korea, Portugal's representative, based in the Japanese capital Tokyo, was accredited . Portugal's ambassador to Japan was further accredited to South Korea until the opening of the Portuguese embassy in the South Korean capital Seoul in 1988.

In addition to the embassy and its consular department in Seoul, Portugal also has an honorary consulate in the South Korean city of Busan .
