Antonio Scandella

Antonio Scandella (born November 15, 1936 ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who has played for HC Ambrì-Piotta in the National League A during his career .

Career

Scandella spent his entire NL career at HC Ambrì-Piotta , for whom he made his debut in the National League A in the 1954/55 season . After a goalless first season with only four appearances, he developed into a regular player for the Ticino in the following years. In the game year 1956/57 Scandella contributed significantly to reaching third place in the Swiss championship with ten goals this season, only the Canadian Bob Kelly was more successful within the team with 25 goals. After the 1963-64 season he went with Ambri in the National League B from. Scandella completed a total of four seasons with the Ticino in the second highest Swiss division.
