Catrin Altzschner

Catrin Altzschner (* 4. June 1985 in Duisburg ) is a German radio presenter and author .

Life

Catrin Altzschner completed a master's degree in German and history at the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2009 .

From 2011 she worked first as a freelancer, then as part of a traineeship at Radio Duisburg , where she moderated various programs in the daily program and worked as a reporter and editor. In 2011 she received the LfM radio award in the “Service” category, and the following year she received the special award for the cross-media project “One of 500,000”.

In 2014 she switched to You FM , the young broadcaster of Hessischer Rundfunk, as a presenter and editor . In the same year she started working as a freelance writer for 1 Live , the young program of the West German Broadcasting Corporation . At the beginning of 2018, 1 Live broadcast two seasons of eight episodes each of the program “Fuck Forward” on air and as a podcast. "Fuck Forward" is a program about sexuality and relationships that is conceived and moderated by Catrin Altzschner. It's about personal experience, concepts from sex & couple therapy, feminism, relationships with oneself, third parties and society. The program has been broadcast weekly since mid-2019. In 2019 initially as a Call In Format with listeners. Since 2020, Catrin Altzschner has been meeting individual protagonists again. The programs are still available as podcasts.
