Cavallino Matto (Italian for "crazy horse") is an amusement park near Marina di Castagneto Carducci in the province of Livorno in the Italian region of Tuscany . It covers an area of 60,000 square meters and is located in a pine forest near the coast. The park has been owned by the Manfredi family since February 2006.
history
In 1967 the park was opened as Parco Gulliver with free entry. There were few rides, a mini golf course, and pony rides. In 2001 the park was renamed Magirè , and in 2006 it was renamed Magix (now the name of the park's mascot). After the redesign and expansion with more rides in the 2006/2007 winter season, the park bears the name Cavallino Matto . The 2007 season, known as Magic 2007 , saw 40% more visitors.
