Stand-up coaster

Stand-Up Coaster (SUC for short) is the English name for a type of roller coaster in which passengers experience the ride while standing.

Shoulder straps and small saddles, which are arranged between the passengers' legs and can be adjusted to the appropriate height before the journey, are used as a safety system.

Manufacturers of stand-up coaster are u. a. Bolliger & Mabillard , Intamin AG and Togo. The only two stand-up coasters in Europe are Shockwave in Drayton Manor Park and Freestyle in Cavallino Matto . Another well-known example was Mantis at Cedar Point .
