Celine Van Gestel (born November 7, 1997 in Turnhout ) is a Belgian volleyball player . The outside attacker won several championship and cup titles in Belgium and was in the German cup final with Allianz MTV Stuttgart . In the 2020/21 season she will play in Italy.

Career

Van Gestel began her career in 2012 at Asterix Kieldrecht, now Asterix Avo Beveren . With the club, she was Belgian champion six times in a row from 2014 to 2019 and five times cup winner from 2014 to 2018. The attacker has been part of the Belgian national team since 2015 . She took part in European championships and other tournaments. In 2019 she played with Belgium in the Nations League . Then she moved to the German champions Allianz MTV Stuttgart . With the club she reached the final of the DVV-Pokal 2019/20 , which Stuttgart lost to Dresdner SC . When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, the team was in second place in the table. Van Gestel then moved to the Italian first division club Il Bisonte Firenze .
