The Celle-Uelzen Netz GmbH is a regional network operators in the city of Celle , in the districts of Celle and Uelzen and parts of the counties Heidekreis and Gifhorn . The company transports electricity , natural gas , water and heat to customers. To this end, it operates 8,036 kilometers of power lines, 2,146 kilometers of gas pipe network and 3,042 kilometers of water pipe network.

Celle-Uelzen Netz GmbH is a subsidiary of SVO Holding GmbH , which emerged from SVO Energie GmbH in 2012. The company name of SVO Energie GmbH has changed to Celle-Uelzen Netz GmbH. All business data such as entry in the commercial register, tax numbers or address were transferred to the network operator Celle-Uelzen Netz GmbH. Only the name and appearance changed with the company name. All contracts, agreements and obligations remained valid.
This step was made necessary by the amendment of the Energy Industry Act in 2011: According to this, distribution network operators such as SVO Energie GmbH must change their branding policy in such a way that confusion between the network companies and other companies (sales) is excluded.
