Celtis (comic)
Celtis is a German-French comic - series of artist Dirk Schulz ( Indigo ) and author Jean Wacquet . It deals with the adventures of the brave but somewhat idiotic Gaul Celtis, who is attacked by a race of ugly aliens and kidnapped into space. He can only expect support from his girlfriend Dicca and his best friend Tarnic.
In the basic concept of Celtis and its world, there are clear references to the popular Asterix comics, especially Celtis and Tarnic are clearly modeled on Asterix and his best friend Obelix. However, they have a less alienated anatomy and behave a lot more uncivilized.
In Germany, Celtis is published by Carlsen Verlag , the first volume was printed in their magazine Magic Attack .
