Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais
The Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais ( CEFET-MG , German 'Federal Center for Technical Education of Minas Gerais') is a technical educational institution ( polytechnic ) in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais .
The CEFET -MG offers courses and training programs at various levels of secondary and tertiary education on nine campuses in seven different cities across the state. Campus I, II and VI are located on Avenida Amazonas, in Belo Horizonte , the other locations are in the cities of Leopoldina , Araxá , Juiz de Fora , Varginha , Timóteo and Nepomuceno .
As a federal school, the facility is subordinate to the Brazilian Ministério da Educação (Ministry of Education).
