Cerasela Pătraşcu (born December 23, 1992 in Balş ) is a former Romanian artistic gymnast .

She won silver at the European Junior Championships in 2006 with the Romanian team and came fifth in the horse jump. In 2007, Pătraşcu took part in the European Summer Youth Olympic Festival , where she won gold in the jump, silver in the all-around and bronze on the balance beam and with the team.

In the same year Pătraşcu started for the first time with the active. At the Gymnastics World Championships in Stuttgart in 2007 , she helped the Romanian gymnastics team with Daniela Druncea , Andreea Grigore , Sandra Izbașa , Steliana Nistor and Cătălina Ponor to win the bronze medal behind the USA and China.

In 2008, Pătrașcu won the gold medal at the European Championships in Clermont-Ferrand with the Romanian team with Gabriela Drăgoi , Sandra Izbașa, Steliana Nistor and Anamaria Tămârjan . However, she injured her knee in the process, causing her to miss the Beijing Olympics.

Only after two years did she make her comeback. At the 2010 World Gymnastics Championships , Pătraşcu reached fourth place with the team. After that, she ended her career.
