Cerebral Contortion is an Australian thrash metal band from Newcastle that was formed in 2007.

history

The band was formed in 2007. The cast consists of drummer Adam CInelli, bassist Keiran Hockey, singer and guitarist Tynan Reid and guitarist Cameron Turner. Since then she has appeared frequently live in Newcastle and Sydney . Matt McIntyre joined the group in 2010 as the new bass player. In 2012 the band played at the Bastardfest . In 2013, the debut album Brain Damage was released by itself . In 2014 the album was re-released through Dead Center Productions .

style

According to Brian Giffin in his Encyclopedia of Australian Heavy Metal , the band plays thrash metal in the traditional style. thethrashmetalguide.com described the group's music as classic, fast-paced Thrash Metal that was memorable and energetic. The vocals fluctuate between shouts and death metal vocals . The classicthrash.com reviewer saw it similarly when he described the music of Brain Damage as aggressive Thrash Metal, which is reminiscent of Burnt Offering several times . The songs are not very varied, while they sound raw, but not immature.
