Cerro Largo , officially Município de Cerro Largo , is a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil .
The population was 13,289 at the 2010 census and was estimated at 14,074 as of July 1, 2018. In the 19th century, numerous Germans settled ( German-Brazilian ). The German-speaking dialect Riograndenser Hunsrückisch can be found in the region .
