The Cerro Ramada is located in the Andes in Argentina and is the second highest mountain of the Cordon de Ramada at 6384  m .

The region around the Cerro Ramada is considered to be the worst mapped region in the Andes.

Approach

The Cerro Ramada owes the lengthy journeys to get there and the seclusion that it has remained a lonely wild mountain. The starting point for the Ramada chain is always San Juan or Mendoza . An approach from Chile would be illegal and very troublesome.

Although the nearby Mercedario attracts several mountaineers, one cannot speak of regular ascents at Cerro Ramada.
