Cesare Chiogna (* 1910 in Samedan ; † unknown) was a Swiss skier who was active in ski jumping and Nordic combined .

Career

Chiogna landed at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberhof in 1931 with jumps of 49 and 50.5 meters as the second-best Swiss in 11th place. At the following Winter Olympics in Lake Placid in 1932 , he started in ski jumping as well as in combination. In jumping from the normal hill, he took a good ninth place. In the combined competition, he impressed with a good performance in jumping and was now fourth. In cross-country skiing , however, he had to lose a few places and was only 22nd in the end.

After the end of his active career, Chiogna worked as a salesman at Och Sport AG in Zurich .
