Cesare I. Gonzaga
Cesare I. Gonzaga (born September 6, 1536, probably in Sicily ; † February 17, 1575 ) was the son of the imperial general Ferrante I Gonzaga , who founded the Guastalla line.
Cesare I himself was Count of Guastalla and Duke of Amalfi (his father was Viceroy of Sicily ). He married Camilla Borromeo in 1560 and had two children with her, u. a. Ferrante II Gonzaga , who was made Duke of Guastalla.
