Ceyhun Demirtaş

Ceyhun Demirtaş (* 1934 in Adana , Turkey ; † July 28, 2009 in Istanbul ) was a Turkish sociologist and writer.

He completed elementary and middle school in Adana. In 1959 he finished his architecture studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul ( İstanbul Devlet Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi ). Then he worked in Adana in the authority. He was the editor of the Politika newspaper.

His first stories appeared in Yeni Ufuklar magazine in 1955 . He then wrote a number of books on psychology and sociology.

His son Ozan Ceyhun is a former SPD MEP .
