Chad Gray

Chad Lee Gray (born October 16, 1971 in Decatur , Illinois ) is the singer of the American nu-metal band Mudvayne . In the band he is also known as "Kud" or "Chüd". He is also the singer of the metal band Hellyeah .
In 1996 Gray formed the band Mudvayne together with guitarist Greg Tribbett, drummer Matthew McDonough and bassist Sean Barclay, but Barclay was later replaced by Ryan Martinie . Gray started his own record label called Bullygoat Records .
Gray also excels for the band's lyrics. His singing is described as a mixture of calm and melodic singing and shouting.
Gray formed the band Hellyeah with Vinnie Paul in 2006 .
