The snowflake flower ( Chaenostoma cordatum Benth. , Syn . : Manulea cordata Thunb. , Sutera cordata (Thunb.) Kuntze ) is a plant species within the fig family (Scrophulariaceae). It comes from southern Africa and is used as an ornamental plant and is then referred to as "Bacopa" or snowflake.

The snowflake flower grows as a perennial herbaceous plant and reaches a stature height of 10 to 30 centimeters; the overhanging shoot axes are up to 60 centimeters long. Numerous relatively small flowers are formed from May to October. The flower color is usually white, some varieties also flower pale lilac or pink.
