Chakali is an endangered language in Ghana and is spoken by the 7,700 (2014) Chakali east of Wa with the center in the village of Ducie.

There is a 62% agreement with Tampulma and 68% with Vagla .

This language is used more in the domestic environment. Chakali speakers also use wali frequently .
