Chalkiope (daughter of Eurypylos)
Chalkiope ( Greek Χαλκιόπη ) is in Greek mythology the daughter of Eurypylos , the king of the island of Kos . From Heracles she is the mother of Thessalus .
In Eustathios of Thessalonike's Commentary on the Iliad , the son of Chalkiope and Heracles is named Eurypylos, in Hyginus Mythographus, Thessalus is the husband of Chalkiope.
