Chamchen Chöje Shakya Yeshe
Chamchen Chöje Shakya Yeshe ( Tibetan. བྱམས་ ཆེན་ ཆོས་ རྗེ་ ཤཱ ཀྱ་ ཡེ་ ཤེས Wylie : byams chen chos rje shAkya ye shes ; * 1354 ; † 1435 ), was a lama of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism and a student of Tsongkhapa . In 1419 - the year Tsongkhapa died - he founded Sera Monastery . Shakya Yeshe visited the Ming court three times , twice on behalf of his teacher. In 1434 he received the honorary title of " Dharma King of Great Mercy" from the Ming Emperor Xuanzong .
