Chamerernebti was an ancient Egyptian princess of the 5th Dynasty during the Old Kingdom . She was the only known child of King ( Pharaoh ) Niuserre . She was married to the influential official and vizier Ptahshepses . He was already married before, a son from his first marriage named Chaefini was evidently cast out. In the advanced course of Niuserre's reign he remarried to his daughter Chamerernebti. The couple had five children together: the sons Ptahschepses, Qednes, Kahotep and Hemachti as well as the daughter Meretite. Chamerernebti was buried in her husband's mastaba in Abusir .
