The most successful stallion in Japan so far is Sunday Silence with 13 titles. In the
Blood-Horse magazine List of the Top 100 US Racehorses of the 20th Century, Sunday Silence is ranked 31st, ahead of Northern Dancer , who is represented in the Japanese Championship for sire horses with his son Northern Taste. Northern Taste topped the Japanese stallion list ten times.
