Chana Porpaoin
Chana Porpaoin (* 26. March 1966 in Lom Sak District , Thailand ) is a former Thai boxer in the straw weight .
Professional career
In 1988 he successfully started his professional career. On February 10, 1993 he boxed against Hideyuki Ōhashi for the world title of the association WBA and won by knockout. He lost this belt in his ninth title defense in December 1995 to Rosendo Álvarez .
On April 16, 2001, he won the WBA world title again when he defeated Keitaro Hoshino by split judge decision. However, the left wingman lost his belt this time in August of the same year in his first title defense against Yutaka Niida .
In 2006 he ended his career.
