Chandler Island is a 6 km long island off the Saunders coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It is the southernmost island in the ice-covered group of the White Islands at the head of Sulzberger Bay .

The United States Geological Survey mapped them using the United States Navy's own surveys and aerial photographs from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1970 after Alan Chandler, an electrical engineer at Byrd Station in the Antarctic winter of 1969.
