Chang Sang (born October 9, 1939 in Ryongchŏn , today's North Korea ) is a South Korean politician.
She studied at Ewha Womans University in Seoul and received her PhD in theology from Princeton University . From 1996 to 2002 she was the President of Ewha Womens University. From July 11 to July 31, 2002, she was Executive Prime Minister of South Korea under Kim Dae-jung . In 2006 she became the leader of the opposition Minju Party ( 민주당 , Democratic Party). In the parliamentary elections in 2008 she was elected as a member of the DP and moved into the Gukhoe .
