Charadrahyla is a genus of the tree frog family(Hylidae).

description

The genus is defined by various genetic characteristics. So far, no morphological synapomorphism of the taxon is known.

Occurrence

The area in which the genus occurs includes the tropical south of Mexico.

Systematics

The genus Charadrahyla was founded in 2005 by Faivovich et al. first described . The species of this genus used to be united in the tree frog genus Hyla for the most part . The type species of the genus is Chadrahyla taeniopus Günther, 1901. The genus currently comprises 10 species.
