Charlemaine

Charlemaine (born 1967 in Boston , Massachusetts , USA) is a singer.

Charlemaine comes from a musical family. She was already on stage at the age of fourteen. After graduating from high school , she moved to Europe and worked as a singer in France, Spain, Italy and Germany and later in East Asia and Australia. She has lived in Germany since 1996 and also works as a songwriter.

With the project PC Groove Sensation she reached the top positions in the charts with the singles Sweet Love and Givin 'It Up . Let The Love Go On was also successful in North America. She works with pop groups like N'Sync or No Angels . She was awarded gold and platinum for the no-angels song When the Angels Sing .

In 2002 she released her first own album Soul Controlled . With the Song Life she entered the German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 , but did not take any of the top three places.
