Charles Bartlett Johnson (born January 6, 1933 in Montclair , New Jersey ) is an American entrepreneur .
Life
Johnson graduated from Yale University ; previously he served as an army lieutenant. He and his brother Rupert Johnson, Jr. co-direct Franklin Resources , a company his father founded in 1947. He owns the San Francisco Giants MLB baseball team . According to Forbes Magazine , Johnson is one of the richest Americans and is listed in The World's Billionaires . Johnson lives in Hillsborough , California. He is married and has seven children.
