Claude Charles Antoine Berny d'Ouvillé , also known as Charles Berny (born July 23, 1775 in Clermont-Ferrand near Lyon , † January 7, 1842 in Quartier des Batignolles near Paris ) was a French painter . The miniaturist and genre painter exhibited his works repeatedly at the Paris Salon between 1802 and 1833 .

On December 19, 1811, he married Eulalie Joséphine Biju-Duval d'Algreis, the daughter of the officer Pierre Philippe Biju Duval d'Algreis and Marie-Cécile Arnaud, in the Church of St. Roch in Paris. Six children emerged from the joint relationship.
