Charles Cartuyvels
Charles Cartuyvels (born February 27, 1835 , † April 26, 1907 ) was a Belgian , Roman Catholic priest , theologian , publicist and well-known pulpit speaker .
Charles Cartuyvels was Vice-Rector of the Catholic University of Leuven for over 25 years .
He was in contact with Giovanni Battista Scalabrini and the Congregatio Scalabriniana because of his experiences with emigration. At the Congress of Social Work in Liège from September 5 to 7, 1887, he gave a report on the "Emigration of Belgians to America".
He was a member of the Catholic student union KAV Lovania Leuven .
