Charles David Soar

Charles David Soar (* 1853 in Upton , Essex , England ; † November 15, 1939 ) was a British amateur zoologist and picture framer.

He and William Williamson wrote a monograph on water mites (Hydracarina) at the Ray Society . As a zoologist he was an amateur. His main occupation was a picture framer with a workshop in Kensington.

He was a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London.
